Free Stuff

We love free stuff...We have been going to the Mission Viejo mall and listening to story time at Pottery Barn Kids. Each time we go, we get a stamp. When you have 5 stamps you get a $10 gift card. Today was the first day that we "cashed in" the stamped card. We went around the store and gathered all the things that were $10 and under, that were interesting to her. Then we laid them all out and Abbie got to decide which one she wanted...and the winner was...the turkey headband...Not my first choice, but she is thrilled with it and has been wearing it around all day! She is going to be in style on Thanksgiving!

It's Mail Time

Abbie LOVES to get mail...today we came home to find a card from Nana in the mailbox. As we were walking inside the house she was clutching the card saying, "It's my very own letter!" "I wonder what it says?" "Mama, do you think it's a thank you card or something..."

We opened it up and there was a cute hummingbird card with stickers. She gasped and said, "Wow, it's a beautiful hummingbird! I love it!" Then she wanted to put all the stickers on her shirt. Look how happy she is...I love her smile!

Aimee's First Trip to Sea World

We decided to make today a family day at Sea World. We loaded up and headed down to San Diego. The summer traffic has finally slowed down so the drive down south wasn't bad. The weather was perfect....low 70's with a nice sun shine. It was a great day with lots of fun and memories. Here are some of the highlights....

Aimee was all smiles on the drive down to Sea World. I love how the light is showing off her beautiful blue eyes. I love that she smiles from ear to ear!

This is the expression Aimee had on her face most of the day. Sorta surprised and in wonder at all the new things to see and experience!


When the sun went down, it got a bit chilly out. Aimee looked so cute in her little jacket and hoodie!


By the end of the day, we were still goin' strong and check out Abbie's face...Happy...but notice the gooey goodness around it...cotton candy!

Boogie Woogie

We went to dinner on Saturday with our friends Don and Lynn. We ate at a restaurant that plays line dance music and the waiters and waitresses dance. The first time the music played, Lynn danced with Abbie and she loved it. Lynn told Mike that the next time the music came on, he needed to dance with her. We all just laughed, not thinking it would happen. It's amazing what the pleading of a cute 3 year old can do to a daddy...Watch the video and see the result...I love Mike and Abbie!
