Abbie's 3rd Birthday Party

Abbie's 2nd birthday party at Cherry Park was such a success, that we decided to repeat the same idea for her 3rd birthday. We invited her friends and their families to come and join in the celebration. We enjoyed BBQ hotdogs, potato salad, chips and birthday cake. The kids had a great time playing and the adults had a good time visiting and socializing. It was a fabulous evening.

Birthday Girl!

After much consideration, Abbie finally decided on Hello Kitty for her 3rd birthday! Here is a picture of the cake I made her for her party...

Ahhhh...Thanks Savannah for the lovely dress...Now we can be twins!

Thanks Denali for introducing Abbie to the Little Pet Shop toys...She loves the little animals you got for her!

Brandon and Shane...Thanks so much guys for the marvelous treasure box and all the hidden treasures it contained...That treasure box has already been opened and closed countless times...Perfect for a little girly girl!

Everyone wanted a hand in the treasure box to discover the hidden gifts...

Thank you Shayla and Josie for the Little Pet Shop toy...

After opening presents, the kids went into the field and started dumping water bottles onto the dirt. It soon became a fantastic muddy lake. Then some of the older boys lent the little ones a shovel to add more dirt. Several kids were running back and forth from the water fountain getting more and more water. It soon became an overwhelming temptation to put sticks in...then step in it...then...well, the pictures tell the story....

Kneeling right in the muddy lake...She was in heaven!

Check out the hand and the mud caked up her coat sleeve...

Daddy dragging Abbie from the muddy lake...She was NOT happy to have to leave...(sorry it's blurry...she was really sqirming!)

Abbie not excited that everyone was looking at her and the muddy mess!

Oh my...

Not excited to get her hands rinsed...

Daddy trying to rinse some of the mud off Abbie's hand...Spread the fingers!

Mud on the face!

Happy Birthday our sweet angel!
