This is a great reminder to me of the importance of my job as a mother...I cherish this season in my life and I am thankful to my wonderful husband who values my role as a mother. He works so hard for our family, so I can fulfill my divine role as a mother.

Big Sister/Little Sister
My sweet friend from high school, Brandy, sent Abbie and Aimee these outfits! I was super happy because I've been looking for cute sister shirts and never found any that I liked...and I LOVE these. Abbie was really excited to wear matching shirts with Aimee! They are adorable together!

Mission Viejo Lake MOMs Club Activity
The MOMs club had a get together at Mission Viejo Lake. I really wanted to go, but the thought of getting to the lake with all the "stuff" and both girls was really overwhelming in my head. I seriously considered backing out but at the last minute I got a wave of courage and decided to give it a try....And, boy...am I glad I did! It was SUPER fun and I managed all by myself! I got everything down to the lake in one trip and we were set! We stayed several hours and everyone had a great time. I am learning that things that seem overwhelming in my head are manageable. It's a liberating feeling...I can do it!
Aimee was an angel the entire time we were at the lake...Everyone took turns holding her and she even had a turn in the beach chair...

Lots Of Smiles...6 1/2 Weeks Old
Aimee is all smiles now...She's been smiling since about 3 1/2 weeks old, but I could never catch them on my camera. Now that she smiles all the time, I was able to capture her smiles and coos...Adorable!

Visitors
Brian, Jacque and Jackson came down to visit with us! It was so nice to have them here! It was the first time they met Aimee and they fell in love with her. Jackson was interested in what Aimee was doing and liked her little features especially the ones with holes...where he could put his little fingers...like her nose, ears and soft eyeballs...He was gentle with her, but very curious. It was great to see them together. The other fun thing is now that Jack is getting bigger, he can keep up with Abbie and doesn't get knocked over by her as easily. They really like playing together and it's fun to watch. We are always happy and excited to have Brian, Jacque and Jackson come and visit...We love them!

On Saturday, we all took a trip down to the San Diego Zoo. It's always a fun place to visit! The kids love the animals and it's fun just spending time together! Here are some of the highlights...
These goats are very mild and gentle...especially compared to ones we've encountered at other petting zoos. Abbie was having a good time feeding them!

This was Aimee's first all day outing...she was a trooper!
