Beach Day

It was so hot at our house the other day, we decided to make our first official trip to the beach. As we drove down there the temperature gauge on our car kept falling lower and lower. By the time we got down to the beach it was down right chilly, but Abbie was so excited to be going to the beach, we had to stay. Mike and Abbie braved the cold ocean water and the very chilly wind to jump in the waves. Abbie was in the water for a good 30 minutes before it became too much. When she got out, she was frozen solid and just wanted to wrap up in a towel. The nice thing is when we got home...it actually felt good to be in the nice "warm" house! It was a fun day!
