Our neighbor girls were having a Thanksgiving Day Celebration at school. They asked me to help them with making some cookies to share with the kids in their classes. With both girls in 2nd grade...and in different classes...that is A LOT of cookies. I decided I better get the sugar cookies baked, before they came to my house after school, and then we would make the chocolate chip cookies together. They also were excited to frost the sugar cookies.
We made a TOTAL mess of the kitchen and kitchen table...but...WOW...we made some dang good cookies! By the time we were done, we had made/frosted over 12 dozen cookies! Abbie got in on the frosting part! Just one of the big girls!
The girls informed me that the cookies were a big hit at school! Everyone was happy! That makes all the work and mess totally worth it! Happy Thanksgiving!
