When we were up in Idaho, Abbie got an ear infection and ANOTHER eye infection. She was born with a clogged tear duct and had surgery in August to correct the problem...the only problem...it didn't work! So now we are in the process of getting her back to the eye specialist to see what the next step will be. The doctor we saw in Idaho suggested we have the eye procedure again...not a fun idea, but we need to get her better. The doctor also said we need to "ground" Abbie...which means no more fun airplane trips for her until we get her eye cleared up. So to add salt in the wound...she got her first "throw up" flu when we got back from Idaho. I am not sure who was more traumatized...me or her! Along with the flu her eye flared up and she got the sniffles. When it rains...it pours! Abbie was so sick she actually fell asleep on the floor...so unlike her! It took a good week for her to have her full appetite back and be back to normal. Then to top it off...Abbie was generous enough to pass it to me. Mommies should NEVER be sick...It just doesn't work! Poor little Abbie! I'm sorry she's been so sick. Hopefully they can finally fix her eye. There's nothing worse than when you're child is sick and there's nothing you can do to help and then you get sick too!!
Poor, poor girl!! Both of Kaitlin's tear ducts are clogged. One of them just recently cleared up...hopefully the other one will follow suit! I hope Abbie's feeling better!
