My friend, Julia, invited Abbie and me to go to the beach with her. We had a great time. She took us to Newport Beach...which I had never been too! After fighting traffic (it was a Friday!) and searching for the perfect parking spot (which I found...it was free!) we hiked down to the shore. Abbie had a great time digging in the sand and playing with the kids. The older ones dug the big "swimming pool" you see and she enjoyed splashing and playing.
