Sea World With Friends

We met up with Gwen, Jason and their family for a fun day at Sea World. I went to high school with Gwen and Jason. We have kept in contact and see each other periodically...when I would go to Washington to see my parents. But this time...they were in my neck of the woods! Jason is working at the navel base in San Diego, so the family is here until the end of September. We met up at Sea World and had an enjoyable time visiting with each other and having fun! Gwen and Jason have the most ADORABLE kids...they are so sweet and fun to be around. We had a wonderful day and hopefully get together again!




The Budweiser horses were on display. They are amazingly massive creatures. Abbie had a great time touching this one. She kept neighing like a horse! She loves all animals!

Luckily, Sarah (who is 10) was brave and took Abbie into the "wet zone"! Both Mike and I were happy for the help! We somehow managed to stay dry!

There were these characters that the kids could wind in between. The way Abbie and Beth were going through them and enjoying themselves...they could have gone all day!


This is a fun video of Abbie playing in the spit fountain in Elmo's World. She gets such a thrill watching other kids and getting splashed with the water. She makes us remember the small pleasures in life!
