Grandpa's Birthday

At the end of July we took a trip to Utah for Grandpa Nelson's birthday celebration! Abbie is a seasoned traveler, but as she gets older, it is harder to keep her entertained while we wait to board the plane. My fingers magically became a "birdy" and I was swooping in and attacking her belly. She thought it was great fun. Abbie has the best smile around. She makes everyone feel happy!

While in Utah we stayed with Mike's son and his wife Jacque. They were great hosts and had the best treats at their house! After seeing Daddy eat a cone, Abbie pleaded for one of her own. So, we stripped her down and let her go at it. She was a sticky, happy mess!

We miss a lot of things about Utah especially the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. This was on Sunday morning. We had to get up (literally at the crack of dawn) to get on our early flight back to CA. This greeted us when we walked outside. So beautiful!
